As parents we often joke that we wish we could have received a manual for our children the day they were born.  A birth chart reading is as close as it gets to a manual for your child.  A birth chart is a snapshot of the heavens taken at the time of our birth and is as individual and unique as a fingerprint.

Interpreting this chart provides you with valuable information about your child’s natural gifts, talents and skills; as well as the weaknesses or challenges they may face.  Knowing this information and using it consciously, can help you to guide your child through life and help them reach their full potential.  Understanding your child’s needs will help you to provide a wide range of opportunities to develop their talents.

Most valuable of all would be the unconditional acceptance of your child’s personality, especially if it is totally different from yours.  Our children need our unwavering love and support as a solid foundation from which they will have the confidence and courage to take on whatever life throws at them.

• The Sun in a birth chart represents your child’s identity, their personality traits and talents. It will help you understand how they want to express themselves and how they need to shine in their lives.
• The Moon informs you of your child’s emotional nature, basic needs and how they experience intimacy in relationships. Knowing what they need is essential to help them feel safe and supported so they can venture out and develop the skills they need.
• The planet Mercury helps us to understand how our children learn, think and communicate. This information will be very helpful when you choose a school or learning environment that is best suited to your child’s unique style of learning.
• Mars tells us more about your child’s drive and energy, their ambition and motivation to reach their goals. Knowing your child’s placement of Mars will help you to provide the right amount of encouragement and support, as well as how to help them successfully manage their energy and emotions.
• Venus provides you with information on how your child interacts and build relationships with family and friends. It will help you to understand your child’s love language and how to build a successful relationship with him/her.
